What general public Thinks of karate Practitioner?|Blog by- Nidhi Rawal |


People mistaken karate as art that just includes fighting,  people thinks that beating someone in fight will make them superior,  it will prove their Men power. But all this mentality is totally wrong. Karate is never meant for fighting,  karate was developed with whole purpose of "self defense ".

Defeating someone in Tournament fight doesn't prove "one superiority ".

Now also, i have heard words like "karate includes brutal combat " , in India when we tell that i m karateka, people judge as "maaramaari hee hoti hai na  karate me".


You won't believe but general public has totally taken karate purpose as wrong. And people judge us wrongly.


On one hand some parents are encouraging girls to take karate for self defense while on other side , specifically  in some part of India ORTHODOX PEOPLE  has mentality that, if a girl is practicing karate , they will judge  her "No one will marry you , no one marry girl who fights, Be like  a girl, karate is waste of time"


Some will say that let them speak , you do your practice,  is their words harm you?

Yes it definitely Demotivate, Atleast from Parents , we require mental support,  and when constantly parents address us with such words, it becomes very difficult to focus. Not just addressing by this words, we require some financial support from our parents to reach higher level, and when parents refuse to help,  people  left up karate,  left up their passion.

We all need to create more awareness among general public regarding karate,  we need to make understand that "karate is not just fighting , its for self defense "

Are Item songs really cool ?

Chadha jo mujhpe suroor hai Asar tera yeh zaroor hai Teri nazar ka kasoor hai Dilbar dilbar..." I m feeling disgraceful for writing such lyrics with my picture in caption... Most people are crazy fan of these  "item songs", especially boys.
